Today I received a letter.
A note from a secret admirer, to be exact!I found it folded rather neatly inside my locker just this morning. A heart decorates the front, although there is no writing on the envelope. Ah, yes!the contents. The note read,
Dearest One,
I can’t hide how I feel about you anymore. My feelings for you have grown so much I had to tell you. However, I’m still not brave enough to give you my name. I can’t wait until I see you again.
Love,Your Secret Admirer
Obviously, there was no name. Tohru-kun found it to be very sweet. Arisa thought it was very cliched. Myself? I am not quite sure what to make of it besides a bit of skepticism, of course!although I am somewhat inclined to agree with Arisa. Though, if I may say, I believe she would be singing a very different tune if she received such a note from Kureno-san.
Yuki and Kyou’s reactions were rather!animated. They seemed quite stunned!I do not see why. Yuki composed himself fairly quickly, asking if I’d been able to figure out who had sent it; Kyou was far less refined. He questioned who the hell would send me a love letter? I’m afraid I may have to concur.
I do not know who sent me the note; the handwriting is not familiar, and nor are the speech patterns!though I do have to admit I am curious. Tohru-kun believes I should wait until my admirer decides to come to me on his own, while Arisa insists that I track him down.
I have made no action as of yet to discover this mystery person’s identity, so I suppose I am following Tohru-kun’s advice, though I have been looking out for any unusual waves passing me by. Unfortunately or possibly fortunately I have been unsuccessful as of late.
I fancy that this whole affair is merely a practical joke of some sort!or possibly a mistake. Tohru-kun and Arisa’s lockers are neighboring my own, so perhaps it was meant for one of them!the letter wasn’t addressed specifically to me, after all. When I mentioned this to Yuki and Kyou the moment Tohru-kun’s name passed my lips, actually it immediately caught their attention. I do believe they will be keeping their eyes and ears open!
If this note is indeed for myself, well, I suppose I will handle the issue when I learn who is behind it. If it was intended for Tohru-kun or Arisa, then, measures will be taken. Perhaps I should increase my search efforts. Tohru-kun suggested I show the note to Souma Hatsuharu and Momiji, as they might be able to help!I may just have to take her up on that.
It is called a secret admirer? I do have to question what sort of person would admire me?

I apologize for my absence as of late…it would appear that my mind has been wandering again…
…hm. I do wonder what sort of disciplinary procedures Kazuma-san prefers to use…it would probably be wise to discuss it. Personally, I myself believe in a good shock to the system…
You see, the other day I happened upon Kazuma-san at the convenience store, where I was picking up supplies to bake a cake with Tohru-kun. I am not the best cook, but Tohru-kun insisted, so of course I couldn’t refuse…ah, but I am getting off track. If my waves did not deceive me, Kazuma-san was accompanied by none other then Arisa’s Kureno-san. Naturally, I was curious about the two in relation to each other…but, as the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat. Also, the two seemed quite secretive…almost as if they did not want to be seen together. However, I did not approach them; I merely made my purchase and quietly left the shop…
But I cannot help but wonder. It seems unlikely from my point of view that the two chanced upon each other, or that they were old friends…their waves told me otherwise. Not to mention according to Arisa, Kureno-san is not the type to “get out much.” And Arisa is no liar. It’s made me begin to consider Tohru-kun’s theory that Kureno-san is, indeed, a member of the Souma family…although his waves do differ from any other Souma I’ve met…
…perhaps I’ve become too reliant on my abilities…
Then again, it really is none of my business…it would be quite rude to involve myself in their affairs, particularly going on what could be false assumptions…perhaps it would be best to forget the whole incident…”Once bitten, twice shy,” as they say…
Yes, I am sure it would be for the best…however, I am afraid I will have to agree with my brother…I am quite stubborn.
The Soumas are indeed a mysterious clan…
I have not told Tohru-kun and Arisa.
