This section will be fully devoted to Sohma Akito, the God of Juunishi. I will update this page as more manga chapters are released, so stay tunned!

Fact 1: Akito was brought up as a boy by her mother Ren ever since her birth. Though the clear reason was never stated in the manga as of yet, it was predicted that God of Juunishi is usually born as a boy and the birth of a girl ruler could bring misfortune to the Sohma Family. Ren was afraid of public judgement and the future of her child, which is why she brought Akito up as a boy.

Fact 2: Akito’s true love has always been Shigure, though their relationship is slowly turning into something rather twisted. When Sohma Kureno (bird) had suddenly broke up the curse of Juunishi by himself, Akito felt a sharp sense of loss and begged him to stay by her side. Because of his kind nature, Kureno couldn’t refuse Akito’s begging and they make love. This incident had greatly angered Shigure and he went ahead to sleep with Ren, Akito’s mother. It was from then that Akito and Shigure have been getting further and further apart, despite of their feelings for one another.
